Q. What are your roles at the practice?
A. Dr. Patrice Thompson is the Chiropractor/Owner alongside her husband Owner/Office Manager Bryson Thompson Sr.
Q. How long have you been open?
A. Touch of Life Family Chiropractic has been in existence since 2017 serving the Southwest Atlanta community.
Q. How many patients do you see per week?
A. We serve 300 visits per week.
Q. Would you like to share anything about your practice adventure?
A. Our practice adventure was one that was rewarding in the sense we were able to accomplish opening up a practice with two small children 4-year-old and 1 year old boys. So, there were many nights that we blew up an air mattress on the office floor to make sure the boys got in bed on time while we worked through the night. Three years later we added the addition of our baby girl! As our family grew our vision and practice grew. Our practice adventure started with the two of us and has grown to include a team of 3 CA’s and an associate doc. We have been blessed to have the ability to bless our community in number of ways. Those include providing over 1300 bookbags in our back to school drive, sponsoring over 15 families for Christmas holidays, providing assistance to homeless during Thanksgiving and various other community contributions.
Q. What have you learned in your journey?
A. Along the journey we have learned a lot of lessons, but the two that are a constant reminders are, “Everyone journey is not going to be the same so don’t try to compare yours with someone else’s” and “Don’t re-invent the wheel”. We have been blessed to have amazing mentors, but we have realized that the most important things are becoming a student of the game and always doing what is best for your family.

A. AMPED helped our practice in many ways but most of all it has provided us with the necessary tools to build the practice of our dreams. The countless modules and mentors have given us the confidence to train, lead and manage a staff with excellence.

A. Surround yourself around the people you envision your practice to be most like and serve!
Q. What advice do you have for fellow doctors?
A. Never stop learning! Always make time to fill your mind with something that is enriching and positive for your personal and business development.
Q. What would you say to anyone considering joining AMPED?
A. Join! It’s a community of doctors and teams on the same mission to change the trajectory of health in their community. If your considering opening your own practice or want to see growth in your practice you need a blueprint that has proven success that is AMPED.
