Q. What are your roles at the practice?
A. Adjusting DC & Team Leader
Q. How long have you been open?
A. 4 Years
Q. How many patients do you see per week?
A. 600+
Q. Would you like to share anything about your practice adventure?
A. The best thing about our practice are our “Anchors”. Anchors to us are people who are in lifetime wellness care and are trusting us proactively with their health. They understand what we do, why we do it, and are on mission with us. This is what chiropractic was always designed to be used for and we honor each Anchor in our practice. We celebrate them and make it known that we do not take their trust lightly. These people are the reason we wake up every day. They are our Why.
Q. What have you learned in your journey?
A. Facts and knowledge are great and can go a long way but people truly desire to know you care about them and stick around based on how clearly you paint your mission and vision for them. You have to define and agree upon the problem, the solution, and the steps to get there. Creating agreement and commitment is one of the hardest things and you must strive to re-establish a deeper commitment with them every visit.
Q. Where can we find out more about you?
Q. How has AMPED helped you?
A. AMPED has allowed us to live a life where we don’t have to worry about survival but can live in a state of abundance and creation. We don’t have to put ourselves first because our cup is full. We have been given the tools to succeed but most importantly we used all of them the way they were designed to be used. We are old school AMPED. When I say that I mean we do everything the way it was taught 6 years ago. We owe everything we have to AMPED and now feel honored to send the elevator down. We are here to help create critical mass and change the healthcare profession for good.
Q. What advice do you have for students?
A. Find an office you love. Serve it after school. Focus on reproducing that one office to a T. Once you have that mastered it in your own practice slowly tweak it to become your own. Bring someone along with you. Dr. Jacob Duvall and I literally had a sit down and hired each other with the agreement that we would hold the standard for each other and demand nothing but each other’s best as we go through AMPED. We have been going through life together for 7 years now and speak daily to keep each other on track. You need someone you can rely on. Find yourself a Dr. Jacob Duvall and put all four feet in together.
Q. What advice do you have for fellow doctors?
A. Focus on being heard. not just talking. The biggest misconception in communication is that it happened. Focus on saying less but getting everything important heard. This is how you impact people and create practice members who want to refer.
Q. What would you say to anyone considering joining AMPED?
A. AMPED will provide you with everything you need to create YOUR best practice and life.
If I could go back, I would have done it again. Best time to start is now.
Q. Anything else you’d like to add?
A. Maggie and I would like to thank Dr. Michael, Dr Hess, the AMPED Mentors, and each member of AMPED. We are so grateful for each of you and cant wait to see where we go as a group. The best is yet to come!
