We are proud to bring you the story of Dr. Mateo Franco of “Life Without Fear Chiropractic”, located in Lexington, Kentucky! All of us in the AMPED community wish him the best of luck.
Q. What is your role at the practice?
A. Doctor, Sole Owner, & Office Manager.
Q. How long have you been open?
A. I am currently in my 3rd Month of practice.
Q. How many patients do you see per week?
A. We have been averaging over 200 visits per week for the past 3 weeks.
Q. What is your focus or specialty?
A. We utilize TRT in our practice and focus on pediatrics and pregnant mothers. Our goal is to help full families reaching their God given health potential through principled chiropractic care.
Q. What would you like to tell us about your practice adventure?
A. I failed boards 2x before passing which, allowed me to precept for 8 months instead of 4 (at Higher Health Chiropractic), which was a huge blessing in my life & chiropractic career. I moved to Kentucky, away from all my family, not knowing a single person and began the process of opening my practice.
I knew that moving Kentucky by myself was a huge leap of faith in my life and the open process humbled me very quickly. I took a huge shot to my confidence not being around any other like minded people in health care. Then I realized everyone around me knew nothing about health or principled chiropractic for that matter. So, I came to the conclusion that there were two outcomes to this process. I either fail or succeed. Either way to me the best way to do either of those, was to, do so by speaking the truth and being bold in that truth that the body was made intelligent to self heal when functioning properly.
During, my opening process I learned a ton and grew as an individual and chiropractor. I wouldn’t trade the struggles for anything, because it’s what you become and what you learn that is the true reward of the opening process. Some of the struggles I had in the beginning, were finding a space, my 1st team member quit before their 1st training. The two team members I ended up hiring were going through finals the 1st week I was open and they didn’t get hired until a week prior to opening (so their training was very minimal at best) I only had 1 untrained team member the 1st week until the other got done with finals. Then I had to try to train them while processing all the practice members, taking x-rays, doing the NPO’s, doing all the paper work, and adjusting everyone too.
Being the Doctor, Business owner, and office manager all at once and compartmentalizing them was a challenge and is a challenge, but totally worth it. When there are so many sick and suffering looking for the cure to dis-ease in this world, it is my responsibility having the knowledge that I do, to educate as many people on how amazing their body is and how the cure to every dis-ease is in surplus inside them. I love to serve people and I would do it all over again just for that next person waiting for me to find them and unlock the health potential they have had inside them, their entire life.

Q. How has AMPED helped you?
A. AMPED has connected me to the most successful chiropractor’s in the world and has taught me how to serve as many people as possible through principled chiropractic care. They gave me the best systems and procedures to help as many people as possible, run a successful business, and to help me live a life to my fullest potential. AMPED is hands down the best thing that has happened in my life, maybe when I finally get married that will be the one thing better than AMPED that has happened in my life. You couldn’t ask for a better group of people, chiropractor’s, and family oriented individuals than what the AMPED family has.
Q. Do you have advice for fellow AMPED members?
A. If you are going to take anything from this group, take RELATIONSHIPS. The best part of this group is the quality relationships that you build. Being able to pick up the phone and call successful chiropractor’s, family men/women and ask them questions to help you build your life and practice is invaluable. The amount knowledge in the mastermind is unmatched and speaks for itself, but the quality people and relationships that you are able to form within this group is truly next level.
Q. What would you say to anyone considering joining AMPED?
A. JUST DO IT!!!! They provide all the tools you could possibly need or think you would need to open and sustain a successful practice. The only thing standing in the way of where you are and where you want to be in this profession and in this group, is your commitment to work with the tools and resources that AMPED puts at your disposal.
